The goals of this workshop are to bring together those who are new to nanoscale science, engineering, and technology as well as those familiar with the NNI and to gather input regarding the goals and objectives of an updated NNI Strategic Plan. The NNI Strategic Plan is currently under development and scheduled for completion by December 2010.
The agenda includes plenary talks by Paul Alivisatos of the University of California Berkeley and Rosalyn Berne of the University of Virginia. It will also feature short overview presentations from various sectors and areas of expertise and interactive breakout sessions.
