For our FPS business unit we are currently looking for an Experienced Process Engineer in the Thin Film Process Engineering team.
The Thin Films Process Engineering team covers many different production steps in the cleanroom. As part of the Thin Films team you will focus on the deposition of various materials used in the fabrication of semiconductor devices and circuits.
As you would expect from a leading research establishment such as imec, innovational new processes and techniques are continually being developed by our Scientists and Researchers. The role of the Experienced Process Engineer is to assume ownership of these processes and turn them from concepts into proven ‘production worthy’ processes that can then be transferred to our customers’ manufacturing sites. To achieve this you will be responsible for the process qualification and introduction of these new processes, the monitoring and control of its quality, initiating process improvements, problem prevention, and problem resolution. You will perform operational excellence projects.
You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in close cooperation with Researchers, Scientists, Hardware Engineers, Operations, Equipment Vendors, Industrial Assignees, Device and Process experts.
As Experienced Process Engineer you work in shifts (early/late) and 1 weekend in 3.
