Lingyan Wang

Dr. Wang is the Principal R&D Scientist of NSC Technology. She is also an associate scientist working in the Department of Chemistry at SUNY-Binghamton. Dr. Wang received her BS degree in chemistry in Nanjing University and Ph.D. degree in chemistry in State University of New York at Binghamton. Her research interests are in the interdisciplinary areas of nanostructured materials, chemical sensors and biosensors, and fuel cell catalysts. Her recent research work on synthesis of highly monodispersed gold coated iron oxide nanoparticles core-shell and alloy nanoparticles, and molecularly-mediated thin film assemblies of nanoparticles for sensors and catalysts has received a wide range of attentions internationally. Dr. Wang has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in the international journals. She is a co-inventor of 3 pending US patents. She currently focuses on the design, synthesis, characterization and evaluation of the proposed nanomaterials.
