Nano-Scientists Optimize Mechanical Alloying Process

Mechanical alloying is one of the most important widely used methods in the production of nanostructured materials. However, a few efforts have already been made for modeling and optimizing this process. Hamed Mirzadeh Soltanpour, one of the researchers at Isfahan University of Technology, introduced a partially comprehensive model for synthesizing nanostructured powders by mechanical alloying by which it is possible to predict the conditions required for having the best nanostructure.
