Lithium Ion Batteries
CHASM Advanced Materials Inc. (CHASM) produces Signis few-wall and single-wall and carbon nanotubes using the patented CoMoCAT® catalytic method in fluidized bed reactors. The CoMoCAT method is proven for the scalable selective synthesis of carbon nanotubes with remarkable control of diameter, chirality and purity. These CNT products are ideally suited for commercial application in battery materials, thin-film transistors, transparent conductive films, NRAM and more.
The NanoPower Research Labs (NPRL) at RIT are dedicated to the development of new materials and devices for power generation and storage for microelectronic components and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). The NPRL’s focus is to develop the materials and devices that are compatible with the current needs of a wide variety of microsystem technologies by exploiting the potential opportunities afforded through nanostructured materials and nanotechnology.
Since its founding in 2000 to make optoelectronic components, Optodot has expanded its nanoporous membrane and its infrared (IR) optical coatings technologies into the battery, window film, security, custom IR optical film, and organic photovoltaic (OPV) markets.
