The company has attracted considerable attention in the venture capital community, closing its first round of funding late in 2001. ZettaCore's venture backers include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Oxford Biosciences, Radius Venture Partners, Access Venture Partners, Garrett Capital/BancOne and Stanford University.
