Since October, 2008: Principal, PPM. Consulting in advanced technology construction for owners,
designers, contractors and construction industry to support major technology programs. Expertise is in
initiating technology programs, procurement and contracting, and establishing performance based teams.
2002-2008: Global Manager of Projects for Intel Corporation. Responsible for Intel's construction program
with greater than $1.5B in annual volume and global resources of over 500+ owner personnel, managing
projects across the globe. Responsibility included initiation and budgeting through to equipment installation.
Intel projects ranged from development of tenant improvements in leased offices, to Office Buildings and
Data Centers, with specific focus in major advanced technology manufacturing buildings including Assembly
and Test and the most advanced Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication facilities in the world.
1997- 2002: Principal, PPM. With demonstrated expertise within architectural/engineering firms, contractors,
subcontractors, and as an owner representative; provided project integration between owner, designer, and
contractors; site evaluation and master planning; strategic planning and industry analysis; and expert witness
and legal mediation support for targeted efforts in the technology industries. PPM had a significant
assignment as primary Owner Construction Manager during 2000-2002 for one of the most technically
advanced construction programs ever built with the $3B Beampath Infrastructure Systems for the National
Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
1996-1997: President of BVM, a joint venture of Black & Veatch Engineering and McCarthy Construction to
focus on design built programs within the Advanced Technology Industries.
1984-1996: Director of Design and Construction for Motorola Semiconductor. Responsibilities included
capital planning; site investigation and acquisition; project funding, programming, design and construction,
process equipment installation, and turnover of completed manufacturing facility to operations in support of
Motorola Semiconductors operations. Chair of the Motorola corporate construction committee that
integrated Motorola's diverse operating units with a single construction methodology.
1976- 1984: Program Manager for Petroleum and Educational Projects in Saudi Arabia for Saudi Aramco.
1971 to 1976: Engineering and project management within southern California Architectural/Engineering
firms and pre-cast concrete subcontractor.
