Dr. Eeva Viinikka is the Programme Director of Finnish National Nanotechnology Cluster Programme, responsible for coordinating the eight local Nanotechnology centre of expertise’s strategy, collaboration, communications and international activities (www.nanobusiness.fi). Dr. Viinikka is also a member of executive team of Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd, the development company for the capital area of Finland, and advisory board member for the Finnish Nanosafety Centre of Finnish Institute of Occupational Health. Dr. Viinikka also plays an active role in the European nanotechnology platform NanoFutures. The previous positions include managing the Nanotechnology Centre of Expertise in Helsinki Region (2007-10, Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd); developing new MEMS tailored silicon wafers and technical customer support (1999-2007, Okmetic OYJ) as well as research on the electrochemistry of conductive polymers (1995-1999, Helsinki University of Technology nowadays known as Aalto University).
